POD (“POD”, “we”) makes and ships custom sportswear for members who sell through their own Shopify stores. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have. It covers the POD Dashboard at app.printondemand.ph and your POD membership.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and, if you give them, your name and phone number. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, never your Google password.
- Your store. Its name, settings, membership and billing history, Wallet top-ups and charges, and your Shopify connection: your Shopify store address, your vendor name and your webhook signing secret (kept sealed; we show only its last four characters).
- Your designs. The designs you upload to My designs, and your shoppers’ logos you upload with an order, with where each goes and your notes.
- Orders from your Shopify store. For each new Shopify order we keep the order number, note and items, and the shopper’s name, phone number and shipping address, so the order can be made and delivered. We don’t receive or keep the shopper’s email. We make only the items marked with your vendor name; we keep the rest of the order only so you can see why those items weren’t made. We never email your shoppers; your Shopify store does that, under its own privacy policy.
- Payments. Membership bills and Wallet top-ups are paid through PayPal or Wise. They receive your card or account details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep the payment reference, amount and status.
- Support messages. When you contact us, the name, email and message you send. If you choose WhatsApp or Viber instead, that chat happens in those apps, under their own privacy policies.
- Technical data. Your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting and error-monitoring services so the Dashboard works and stays secure.
Why we use it
- To sign you in (email codes or Google).
- To make, ship and support your orders, and to send you order, Wallet and sign-in emails.
- To bill your membership and run your Wallet.
- To keep POD secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Your shoppers’ details
Your shoppers’ names, addresses and phone numbers come from your Shopify store. We use them only to make and deliver their orders, and keep each member’s orders separate from every other member’s. You see them in your Orders; we never hand them to another member.
When our staff see your store
Our staff can open any POD store and see it as its owner does, including designs, settings, orders and shoppers’ shipping details. We do this only:
- to answer a support request or fix a problem you report;
- to check that a change we make hasn’t broken your store;
- to investigate fraud, misuse, a security issue or a breach of our Terms of Service;
- when the law requires it.
We don’t look through stores out of curiosity, don’t use one member’s designs, prices or orders to benefit another, and don’t change your store without your request except to fix a fault, stop a security problem or meet a legal requirement, and we tell you when we do. Only staff whose job needs this access have it.
Who we share it with
- Manufacturing. Order details and notes, artwork, shoppers’ logos and shipping details (name, address and phone number) go to our production partner so the products can be made and delivered.
- Service providers that run POD for us, each receiving only what it needs: Shopify (your store sends us its orders; we receive shoppers’ details from it and send it none), Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), PayPal and Wise (payments), Google (sign-in, if you choose it), and OpenAI or Anthropic (POD Copilot: we send them the text of your question, never shopper, order or payment details).
- Legal reasons. When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of POD, our members or the public.
Cookies
We use cookies and your browser’s storage only to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as needed for warranty, accounting and tax, including after a store closes or is deleted. Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it. Designs and uploads are kept while your membership is active. If you delete your store, we erase its content straight away and keep only the order and payment records the law requires. Sign-in codes expire within minutes.
Your choices
- You can update your details in the POD Dashboard.
- You can ask us to export, correct or delete your personal data by emailing sales@proshops.app. We may need to keep records of completed orders where the law requires it.
- You can sign in with an email code instead of Google at any time.
- Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to be informed about, access, correct, object to, and have erased or blocked the personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission. If you live elsewhere, your local law may give you similar rights. Shoppers can ask the member they bought from, or us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in is passwordless (one-time codes or Google), and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. If we learn of a breach affecting you, we will tell you.
Children
POD is for adults running a business. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above and, for significant changes, email members.
